Media conference set for Tuesday, April 29

The St. Louis Bandits announced today that they will host a pre-Robertson Cup Championship Tournament media conference on Tuesday, April 29 at 1 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center, located at 16625 Swingley Ridge Road in Chesterfield, Mo.

At that time, the head coaches from the four qualifying Robertson Cup Championship Tournament teams will be introduced and available to the media.

In addition, the first-ever St. Louis “Pros vs. Prospects” game will take place on Saturday, May 3. The event will feature professional players familiar to St. Louis sports fans.

Players scheduled to participate include current St. Louis Blues players Cam Janssen and Yan Stastny, both St. Louis natives who will play in a full game against St. Louis-area collegiate and junior players.

Janssen and Stastny will also be available to the media at the Tuesday, April 29 media conference.

St. Louis and the Hardee’s IcePlex (Hwy. 40 and Boone’s Crossing) will be the site of the Robertson Cup Championship.  The Bandits are the host team and defending Robertson Cup champions.

The Bandits will skate at the Hardee’s IcePlex at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29 and all players will be available to the media after practice at 11 a.m.
